From The Road…
Hello there. I’m in the car tinkering on my phone. Speaking of which, I want to get something new, something Blackberry-ish. Anyway, we’re on our way to Chicago for the week. Like I said in the previous post, I want to go somewhere! I meant more like on a tropical vacation, but this will do too. We love Chicago
. Hopefully we’ll do more than sleep this time around. Last time we went up to Chicago, Jayden was 2 weeks old and we were still trying to adjust to his sleep patterns. Now that he’s 2 MONTHS we’re pretty much adjusted.
This week will be spent eating, shopping (Unwanted surprises keep us from doing this. I’m throwing a mental tantrum.), tinkering around downtown, and most importantly apartment hunting. We may also meet up with a fellow blogger!
Man, I smell like outside. Yuck. I can’t wait to take a shower and change into some fresh pjs.
To conclude, I have a question. What has been the DUMBEST reason a cop gave as to why he pulled you or someone you know over? It’s ok to refer to yourself as your “friend” to look good.
I’ll get the list started:
1. There was an air freshener hanging from the window…*cough*
Although it’s still light outside, goodnight!

All-Inclusive Fun In The Sun!
Browsing through pictures from the cruise has reminded me that I have yet to put the pictures that I took in Puerto Rico and Jamaica (3 summers ago) on flickr. I have also been reminded of the list of things that Greg and I planned on doing last summer, but never got to them. That has made me realize that we haven’t done anything this summer. I want to have some fun in the sun! We’re supposed to be taking a trip to New York in August, ultimately I’d like to be moved into wherever we’re going to move to before the trip. My uncle and his wife bought a new house not too long ago and they want to have a small family get together. Since they are still in the renovation process, space is limited. So my mother, aunt, Greg and I may be the only ones going. I’m not sure how it’s looking though, if we’ll get there. Not much has been said about it. I want to scream! lol! I want to go somewhere!
Since traveling can get costly and Greg and I absolutely love traveling, I troll the internet for travel package deals. It doesn’t matter if we have plans on going to a specific area, I still browse. A girl can dream, right?

The WonderFall celebration provided by Beaches Resorts recently fell into my inbox. WonderFall takes place during the peak-off season, September 1st - November 4th, 2008. During the WonderFall promotion you are able to get 1 free night when you stay 5 or 6 nights or 2 free nights when you stay 7 nights at Jamaica’s Boscobel, Sandy Bay, Negril, and Turks and Caicos beaches. In addition, there is an opportunity for up to 45% in package savings.
The best of everything in a family vacation is included in each WonderFall package! There’s unlimited dining from a variety of gourmet and specialty cuisine restaurants serving great breakfast, lunch and dinner. *drool* Not only are the standard meals included, but kids and parents have access to “anytime snacks” and beverages. So you don’t have to hoard snacks in your luggage in fear of running up the bill. I’ll admit that my family packed a whole luggage bag of snacks when we went to Jamaica, lol, and I’m glad we did. The grocery stores were sooo expensive!
Beaches Resorts has something the whole family can enjoy. During the day, tennis, golf, and state-of-the art fitness centers are available for recreation. Little tots can enjoy wading pools. Big kids can be entertained at Pirate’s Island Waterparks and amazing pools that feature swim-up bars where parents can relax with friends. Snorkeling and scuba diving instruction are even available for an additional fee.
Children will love the programs at Beaches. Children get to spend time with Elmo and friends as part of The Beaches Resorts Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street®. There’s story time with Elmo, baking with Cookie Monster, dancing with Zoe, exploring with Grover, making music with Bert & Ernie, character parades and even character breakfasts (for a nominal charge). Supervised kids camps for all ages are available, from newborns to tweens and teens, the Crayola Art Camps and an Xbox 360® Game Garage, featuring the latest video games the entire family can enjoy.
At the end of the day, families can get together to enjoy nightly entertainment and stage shows or parents can schedule a nanny for the kids, and enjoy some adult time at the piano bar. At the end of an exciting night everyone can fall out and rest up for the next day in top-notch beach side accommodations. One and two bedroom suites facing the ocean and beachfront provide an amazing view as well as relaxing atmosphere. Don’t feel like climbing out of bed? Relax while your personalized butler brings you breakfast, fresh towels, and your freshly ironed attire for the day!
Book your WonderFall vacation today while the getting’s good. Trips must be booked by July 17th 2008 to take full advantage of these awesome amenities! If you can only afford to dream like me, you could have a chance to win a Five-day/four-night Luxury-Included® vacation for 2 adults and 2 kids during the WonderFall celebration!

Keep Them Believing With Letters From Santa
When I was a kid, I didn’t believe in Santa Claus for very long. I was one of those kids that were too grown before their time. I told my mother that I wouldn’t want my child to believe in Santa Claus when I’m the one who really bought them the presents, lol. Since the secret was out, my mother just let me shop for my Christmas presents with her. She even let me wrap them and put them under the tree. I was content with that. I still believe that us parents deserve some credit, but we’ll see how long we can get Jayden to believe in Santa Claus.
For those who want to keep the kiddos believing in Santa, there is a new service out called Package from Santa. For as low as $14.95 you can send a personalized letter to your kids from “Santa” in a metallic shiny red envelope addressed to them. The personalized Santa Letters (the Basic package) have the look and feel of authenticity. They are written on a thick parchment-like paper with a distressed and aged look. They are simply made and written to look like the real thing.
In addition to Letters from Santa, Package from Santa also offers a Standard and Deluxe package. The Standard package includes a personalized Letter from Santa, custom letter from Rudolph, official personalized Nice Certificate, and a glossy autographed 8X10 photo of Santa Claus, also shipped in a metallic shiny red envelope. The Deluxe package includes a personalized letter from Santa, custom letter from Rudolph, official personalized Nice Certificate, glossy autographed 8X10 photo of Santa Claus, genuine reindeer food, authentic collectors piece of Santa’s suit, and a personal greeting from Santa Claus recorded on a CD. Wow, now if the Deluxe package doesn’t keep a kid believing in Santa, then I don’t know what else will! Deluxe packages are shipped in a shiny red box and are of LIMITED supply.
Your kids will be in total awe over Package from Santa’s personalized packages. You may never hear the end of the personalized gifts that they’ve received from “Santa Claus”. To keep them believing, consider sending your kiddo a Package from Santa. For pictures and custom package pricing, visit packagefromsanta.com.

If you would like to give a gift to baby Jayden, we are registered at Target. All gifts are greatly appreciated!
